Postnatal Workout Plans

I've been plagued with a couple of complications that stopped me from working out this pregnancy. I had visions of me with my bump working it out right to the end. Ya okay. This pregnancy is not giving an F about my plans.

But can I please, please, please make workout plans for post-pregnancy?

As soon as I get the green light:
• 8 weeks of Jamie Eason's Post-pregnancy Trainer to slowly build up (Phase 1 and 2)
then
BBG Pre-Training / 1.0 (#bbgmodifiedabs from @fitinthe6) while stroller walking 10km/week

My intentions are to:
• feel energized as a new mom
• enjoy the summer weather with the wee babe
• fuel with nourishing foods, while breastfeeding
• feel great in a bathing suit come August/September for a little family trip 👙🌊

I estimate I will be starting the end of May or beginning of June 2017! My motivation and interest in working out has been high this entire pregnancy, even though I haven't been able to. I'm positive this passion will stick with me. I can't wait to hit the ground running!!!

First week of TIU Bikini Series (Round 2!) down, how is everybody doing? My eating was on point, my fitness was not. It's usually the other way around... This week, I'm making it my mission to nail them both!

Khloe Inspired Booty Circuit

First day at ROUND 2 of the Bikini Series in terms of working out! In sticking with the TIU schedule guidelines, I worked BOOTY + CARDIO!

20 minutes of jogging on the treadmill then BOOTY! Did one round (usually I do 2). If I want to scorch even more calories and have extra time, I add 15 minutes of treadmill sprints between the 2 rounds!

Based off of Gunnar Peterson's routines with Khloe cuz I want her shape!

I based this off of a routine I found that Khloe Kardashian does, loosely inspired by her workout style. Because, booty.

To download the timer that runs you through every move, first make sure you have Seconds Pro (on Apple and Android). Once you've downloaded that (SO SO SO worth the $5) then click here to download the workout!

Zoodle Soup

I'm obsessed with noodle soup. But sometimes, you just need to dial it back on the noodles! Sometimes, okay?

You will need a spiralizer to make this recipe, this is the one I have. It's so affordable and makes so many amazing recipes! http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0007Y9WHQ

INGREDIENTS
- 1 tbsp miso paste
- sea salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 3 cups of water
- 1 stalk of celery, chopped
- 1/2 red pepper, diced
- 1 zucchini, chop the two ends off and leave whole
- pepper and red chili flakes to taste
- handful of parsley, as garnish

OPTIONAL
- cubed little pieces of tofu

METHOD
1. Bring water to boil, add seasoning.
2. Add celery, red pepper, pepper and red chili flakes. Boil for 2 minutes, or while you spiralize the zucchini.
3. Spiralize the zucchini. Add to water. Boil for 1 minute or less. This is where I would add tofu too.
4. Add to bowl and top with parsley!

An entire zucchini only has 20 calories! So ya, we're looking good.
