i've been really involved w/ interval training (HIIT). really involved since april 2nd.
a few times i was mid-warm up on the treadmill when i realized that i forgot my heart rate watch all the way upstairs (which usually times my intervals for me). i had my iPad already plugged into the treadmill so that i could listen to the music and view the HIIT of the day. SO, i downloaded Seconds Pro and i am so impressed that i'm actually writing a post about it!
i only used the cardio HIIT interval trainer on there.
so many colours to choose from too, you can customize it all. what colour makes you go fast? red? that's what i chose! so when i am running faster intervals, the screen flashes red. what means slow to me? blue! so, when the screen flashes blue, i know to slow down. purple, to me, means it's time to relax... cooldown time! when the screen turns purple, i smile, knowing i did an awesome job!
you can make new schedules for each interval run, which is perfect for uploading the many HIIT Tone It Up! workouts from the Drop10 Self Mag challenge.
this app somehow makes me look forward to running HIIT's again tomorrow!!! all for $2.99. worth the buy.
