Benefits of Ginger

Ginger is a huge anti-inflammatory. Inflammation is the bodies natural response when there is tissue damage, injury or infection. We all need to consume more foods with anti-inflammatory properties, it's so important. It also has anti-pain agents, making it the perfect cup of tea for menstrual cramps. Alleve, who? Ginger tea is all you need! It also helps the body to digest better.

I'm really just going to point you in the direction of this link, since I can't cover it all! They say it much better:

Ways to increase your ginger intake:

  • Cut off a sliver and eat a bite every few bites of food (it actually makes the meal taste soooo much better, especially something like brown rice and lentils with vegetables)
  • Homemade ginger tea
  • I use these crystalized ginger packets when I'm at work (from Prince of Peace, which I get at the Asian supermarket)

mix half of a packet with hot water

  • Crystalized ginger candy

obsessed!
