Why sweat the small stuff when you can just sweat?

Lately, I have been super stressed and venting waytoomuch. This is why I decided to start off my #hproject with DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF.

saunamazing
I just joined the gym again and am remembering how much I love to get a good workout in and follow it with a sauna session. Sitting in the sauna squeezes every last shred of stress in me. It transforms me from Venting Veronica to HappyGoLucky Lucy. It takes me to a place that working out at home, sans sauna, never did!

It can also rid the body of some harmful toxins and perhaps even burn 100 calories for every 10 minutes! I'm hoping that this is true :) I only go for 10 minutes to avoid excessive fluid loss especially because I usually go in after a sweat sesh. It's sooooo important to replenish these fluids BEFORE, DURING and AFTER the workout AND sauna session. I am NOT one that impresses myself via water weight loss, and I hope you aren't either because this is not exactly beneficial to your health. 2-4 glasses of water after a sauna sitdown, says LIVESTRONG. I find that it also aids me with light stretching, especially in my legs.

After a workout/sauna chill session, I always head to David's Tea for some rooibos tea (which is just across the hallway!). Rooibos tea is full of electrolytes so I can safely get back to where I need to be. I've also been known to brew it and chill it so I can sip it in my water bottle.

Hey, I’ve actually read the book “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff,” if that’s where you’ve based your project. :] Anyway, it’s a good point to add ‘when you can just sweat.’ It makes sense when you’re talking about saunas. You can minimize your stress level by not minding some things. And along with that, you can keep a healthy lifestyle and strengthen your resistance. How’s the project doing? ;]
