I'm very excited that I've reached a point in my life that I would rather stay in and make dinner or grab a tea or watch a movie than go out for cocktails every weekend, wasting money, workout efforts, and destroying my feet slash liver.
I can barely hear from last night and I'm drained tired because I had a few bevvies. I'd rather have woken up well rested with tons of energy to go on a nice walk with feet that don't kill from prancing around in 6'' stilettos the night before.
To fill up with a high calorie drink filled weekend seems a bit counterproductive. I'd rather have a wicked treat meal or see results faster.
So what is planned for next weekend? A Friday night sweat session at the gym followed by who knows what. I'm in the mood for a Starbucks night at Chapters! Then... A bike ride with the bf around downtown (wish me luck, haven't ridden a bike in 14 years), make a delicious soup and watch movies and whip up a batch of Orange Minty Lemonade to sip on. The next day, I am meeting up with the Tone It Up Toronto team for a walk and coffee around the Distillery District! It will be nice to meet new people with similar interests and maybe even learn some new paths! I love love love trails and paths for walk slash walk jogs with my girlfriends or bf.
I wish every weekend could be so amazing. I'm really looking forward to that, over dressing up for another disastrous Halloween... over it. Or so I say today.
