What's up my bum? This past month, I've been super super stressy. I find myself being short with people, and I would rather f'n not be, ok? This feeling of being high on adrenaline and overwhelmed has got me in a misery cloud.
A lot of this, I'm sure has to do with me not taking regular breaks at work. Women's guilt has us gulping and playing chicken over whether we will take what is our earned right.
Taking breaks at work make us more pleasant for other people, makes us more effective workers but fk all I care about is gaining back a shred of sanity.
Each day, I'm going to do different things on my lunch break.
MONDAY
drive and listening to music nice and loud!
TUESDAY
read a book
WEDNESDAY
walk around the blocks
THURSDAY
go to the coffee shop and play with my iPad
FRIDAY
walk around the block again!
Seriously guys, my women's guilt has got to leave me alone. I say I'm going to do these things to help my sanity, but check back with me in a few weeks and I will tell you how much my women's guilt has gotten in the way.
