Ever since I was about 9 years old, I've been interested in the meaning of dreams. Last night the star of my dream was a massive spidie. So first thing today, I hopped onto www.dreammoods.com to check out my favourite dream dictionary of all time.
It told me: To see a spider in
your dream indicates that you are feeling like an outsider in some situation. Or
perhaps you want to keep your distance and stay away from an alluring and
tempting situation. The spider is also symbolic of feminine power or an
overbearing mother figure in your life. Alternatively, a spider refers to a
powerful force protecting you against your self-destructive behavior. If
you kill a spider in your dream, then it symbolizes misfortune and bad luck.
Awkward... I didn't kill it myself, but I did ask somebody else to (which they may or may not have).
I trust in the meaning of my dreams. The most recent that completely weirded me out was about a month ago. I dreamed that my ex-boyfriend had put smushed bananas all over my car in the driveway. So what? So... I woke up in the morning to my dad telling me that there was a black bag on my car. This black bag was actually a CD case with over 60 CD's from grade 7 until my ripe age of 27. I was excited that my ex had returned it. Until I opened it up, and each and every CD was SMUSHED to pieces.
