Had a birthday at marino's on the weekend. My friend announced there would & a vegan present. He was pleased to whip together an amazing & innovative vegan dish even though I'm told I was the first they've had (amazing chef later disclosed he'd worked at the Fairmont in Toronto, as well as seniors homes with my kind).
The result? Plenty of grilled veggies. A white cheeseless pizza, drizzled with jalepeno oil. A faux pasta made with veggies and the best part - a zucchini halved & stuffed with chickpea stew! Hot damn.
This weekend, going to Ki in Toronto for another set menu dinner. Will I have any luck? Come back next week!
