2011 Resolutions

must.have.zen....please?

Making 30 resolutions has been my consistent resolution each and every year. feeling reminiscent, i'm going to look back on the last resolutions and see how far i've come..

- join a book club (chick lit vs. brutally honest pop-culture)
- yoga every week (in lieu of chill pills)
- run 5 times / week (dare i say 1000 km in a year?!?!)
- strength train 3 times / week
- put down the fork ( i hear there's this new thing called portion control that you have to start practicing when you turn 25.)
- learn to swing dance or latin dance (aiiii paint me hot)
- diversify my musical taste (update the ipod/add some jazz into the alt rock scene)
- beach vacation on my birthday (club birthdays can shove it)
- learn 1 new vegan meal per week (and cook with the bf instead of going to dinners always
(books i'm learning from: Skinny Bitch Cook Book, reFresh, The Vegan Table, Planet Organic Cookbook)
- walk with my dogs at least 3 times per week
- do an outdoor activity like ski, snow shoe, hike, run @ least once a week
- keep tidy! i'm about to tell you something... i'm really messy... clothes everywhere... somebody stop me... that there? ya, it was a cry for help.
- gain more energy instead of just crashing after dinner after work! caf tea seems to help that
- quit latte, convert to tea (random thought: open a David's Tea Shop!)
